Apprenticeship (more about this)
ABC chapters across the nation are committed to a well-trained, well-educated construction workforce. To that end, the West Tennessee Chapter has operated an apprenticeship program since 1987 approved by the Bureau of Apprenticeship and Training (BAT) of the U.S. Department of Labor. Our program is certified to offer courses in most construction trades and is accredited by the National Center for Construction Education and Research (NCCER).
In addition to apprenticeship, the West Tennessee Chapter is a certified skills assessment center and has the flexibility to design a craft training program to fit our members' specific needs.
Management Education (more about this)
In addition to our apprenticeship program, the chapter's commitment to education extends to the management of our member companies. Through various management education seminars suggested by our membership, the chapter strives to enhance the effectiveness of management personnel. This year, the chapter is offering six management education seminars, as well as Blueprint Reading, Construction Estimating and Spanish and English classes.
