Learn the fundamentals of reading and understanding the many components of a typical commercial project including:
 
·          Civil
·          Architectural
·          Structural
·          Mechanical
·          Electrical
 
Students will learn the format of the  project specification manual and how to use it in conjunction with the drawings.  The curriculum also covers area of linear measurement of a variety of items.  The course utilizes a set of plans and   specifications from a project in the Memphis area in order to maximize the learning experience.  The course textbook, plans and specifications are furnished.  Student provides, pencil, architect/engineer's scales and a basic function calculator.
